International Master, Guillermo Rey, has been a leading Northern California player for many years (U.S. Masters 1975, International Master 1987, and California State Champion 1998). Guillermo organized the Bay Area Masters Tournament (September 2001) and the 2002 Bay Area Masters Grand Prix. Soccer - 10 Classes Grades 1-3 . Upper Field 10 - 20 students. Mondays from 3-4 PM $161 Soccer is one of the most famous sports in the world and recent studies show the great health benefits of exercising and developing skills. Our main goal is to allow kids to develop fundamental motor skills, hand-eye coordination and social interaction in a fun and safe environment. The children learn skills like kicking, dribbling, and throwing in the ball, in a low-pressure setting that encourages creativity and collective bonds. Our program is about exposing children to soccer as a game, without the pressure to win, and also introducing important life lessons such as following rules, being part of a team, pursuing goals and self-improvement. Circus - 11 Classes Grades 3-8. MPR 6 - 12 Students. Mondays from 3-4 PM $178 In this super fun class participants learn through play with a variety of circus arts. Juggling scarves, balls, clubs and rings as well as the chinese yo-you (diabolo), flower sticks, and back by popular demand stilt-walking will be practiced weekly. No experience is necessary, but the desire to have fun while learning is a must. D. Heartlife AKA: "Hearty" has been a professional juggler and entertainer for over 25 years. He trained with Chinese Acrobat Master Mr. Lu Yi and has been a Circus Coach for the Vermont Youth Circus "Circus Smirkus”. Hearty is the director of EarthCapades Environmental Theater. This class is very popular, and the max number of students is FIRM for safety reasons. Please do not ask for exceptions. with Hearty!

The ukulele or "leaping flea" is the instrument associated with Hawaii, and was brought there by the Portuguese. With only 4 strings, and a shorter neck than a guitar, it is the perfect instrument for smaller hands. Learn songs like Day-O, Jamaica Farewell, as well as songs by Bob Marley and Jack Johnson.
Tips on buying a uke: A decent beginner Uke can be purchased for around $65. Manor Music next to Safeway carries a wide variety of ukes, as does Haight Ashbury Music in San Francisco. We will be using Jumpin' Jims 'Ukulele Island' which can be bought before or the day of class from Mark Sessler for $15. with Mark Sessler
Lego Building - 11 Classes Grades K-8. Room A23 Mondays from 3-4 PM $163
Students will use Legos for free-play and to build things; using many prepackaged kits as well as an extensive library of Lego blocks to improvise. The class incorporates a combination of free play and small challenges to help the students learn how to make simple structures, shapes, figures and machines. Students will also work together in groups to make larger and more complex materials. The class emphasizes building as well as cleanup planning and organization. Start the Art - 11 Classes Grades K-2. Art Room 10 - 20 students. Mondays from 3-4PM $177
This class sets the stage for children to explore and create art & crafts. Your young artist will work on a variety of projects in order to expose them to different tools, materials, mediums and processes. Projects include: Tape resist canvas painting, beading, still life drawings, and upcycle, seasonal, and holiday crafts.
