More changes coming!

4/15/2022

Quote of the week: "All great changes are preceded by chaos." -- Deepak Chopra, author and alternative medicine advocate

Dear Ocean Shore Families,

The optimist in me hopes the playground construction won't be too chaotic, but the realist in me is preparing to be flexible. The fencing will be put up and construction will begin next week.  The staff and I have put a plan in place for drop off, pick up, and lunch starting on April 25th.  All of this is subject to change depending on circumstances such as noise, dust, or rain.  Here are the key points:
Drop-off and pick-up:                                                                                                                                                                                                    Edgemar Circle WILL be available for drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon.  A path will be available through the fencing so that students and parents can enter the yard.                                                                                                                                        The kindergarten gate near the library will also be open for drop off and pick up.
The Nelson gate will be open for drop off and pick up                                                                                                                                                      Bikes:
Bikes should be parked in the courtyard next to the MPR and locked to the fence.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Morning line up:
Kindergarten:  line up at the A wing door                                                                                                                                                                               First grade:  line up at the B wing gate
Jason & Sophie's classes: line up at the outside door to their classrooms                                                                                                                       C, D & E Wing classrooms:  line up on the blacktop on their "normal" lines
